R449A is a next-generation HFO/HFC blend refrigerant designed as a replacement for traditional refrigerants such as R22 and R404A.

Its key properties include:

Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP): 

R449A has no ozone-depleting properties.

Lower Global Warming Potential (GWP):

With a GWP of 1397, it is significantly lower than that of R22 (GWP 1780) and R404A (GWP 3922), contributing to climate change mitigation.

Physical Characteristics:

R449A is a colorless, non-flammable (safety classification A1), non-corrosive gas suitable for a wide range of refrigeration systems.

    *   Store in temperature-controlled environments (recommended range: -20°C to +45°C)

    *   Maintain relative humidity below 60% with adequate air circulation

    *   Implement dedicated ventilation systems achieving ≥12 air changes per hour

    *   Install continuous gas monitoring with alarms set at 25% LFL (Lower Flammability Limit)
